“A Rare Person” – A Documentary

“A Rare Person” is a series of short documentaries that aim to provide greater awareness as to how people cope with the impacts of a rare disease. Although these diseases are classified as “rare”, they impact the lives of over 350 million people worldwide. Through the process of interviewing and filming individuals with rare diseases for an entire day, this project desires to highlight how disease affects everyday living. Further, this project also seeks to gain interest from researchers and funders, with the hope that one day a cure will be found. The project began in January 2015 and today continues to develop. “A Rare Person” is a collaborative project and thus cannot exist without your participation.
